GWINNETT COMMISSIONER JACE BROOKS ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN FOR RE-ELECTION

REPORTS $65,000 CASH ON HAND FOR RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN

Gwinnett County District 1 Commissioner, Republican Jace Brooks, announced today that he would seek a second term on the Board of Commissioners.

Brooks reported $65,000 cash on hand for his campaign as of the January 31st campaign disclosure deadline.

“It has been a privilege to serve the people of District 1 and Gwinnett County for the last three years.  I am proud of my record of doing what I promised I would do—champion conservative solutions to Gwinnett’s serious challenges. Thanks to these efforts, Gwinnett is on the rise again with a growing economy, low taxes, increased funding for public safety, reforms to restore the public’s trust, and meaningful investments to improve mobility.”

“In the last 3 years, District 1 has seen an increase of over 2,000 new jobs, nearly $300,000,000 in private investment and millions of dollars invested in transportation improvements to improve mobility. We have also added new police officers, sheriff’s deputies, and firefighters across the county while maintaining our balanced budget, low taxes and ‘AAA’ credit rating.”

“This is only the beginning. Moving forward, I will continue to put forward aggressive plans for transportation solutions, connectivity, and economic development to make Gwinnett County a leader not only in the state but also across the nation. In the months ahead I look forward to earning the continued trust and support of the people of District 1.”
